The 8th Eurospar Fastnet Triathlon will take place in Schull Co. Cork @ 10:30am
It is a sprint distance triathlon consisting of a 750 meter swim 21km cycle and a 5km run
The race is organised by Schull Triathlon club with great help from local community and local buisness’s

T-shirt and goodie bag for all competitors
Finisher’s medals for all finishers.
Prizes for 1st 2nd 3rd Male, Female and Teams
1st 2nd 3rd male and female in all age 5 year age groups

This race is run in conjunction with Triathlon Ireland the national governing body of Triathlon

This years triathlon will take place on the 9th June @ 11:00am in Schull Co. Cork.
The race consists of a 750m swim followed by 21km cycle and a 5km run.

With the support of existing members, setting those goals doesn’t have to be something you do alone. What better start to the new year than to get fit. And what better way to do it than exercise.

Entry for Eurospar Fastnet Triathlon will open on Saturday 18th February @09:00 on Triathlon Ireland. This is a sprint distance race consisting of 750meter swim 21km cycle and 5km run

The Fastnet Duathlon takes place on 10th March and entries are currently open here
This is a 5km Run 16km Cycle and 3km Run suitable for newcomers on there own or as part as a team
This race is also a great warm up for Triathlon as it uses same run route and most of the Cycle route

This will allow you to join Schull Triathlon Club and Triathlon Ireland both of which you need to be covered by insurance while training

Info on Triathlon Ireland membership types below.

Full:
This membership is for people who train with a club and intend to race several times during the triathlon season. You are insured for club training, and to participate in all Triathlon Ireland events, without paying a one-day-license. The cost of Full Membership is 50 Euro + 3 euro for processing & transaction fees.

Associate:
This membership is for people who are involved with a club and may take part in some training sessions, but do not intend to race (or only participate in a couple of races). Although you are insured to train with a club, you will have to pay a one-day license fee each time you race. The cost of Associate Membership is 15 Euro + 3 euro for processing & transaction fees.

Student:
You have the same benefits as a full member, but you pay a reduced fee. This is only available to full time students. Proof of student status will be required. The cost of Student Membership is 15 Euro + 3 euro for processing & transaction fees.

Junior:
This membership is only available to people who are 19 years old or younger on the 31 December of the year of application. Proof of age will be required (birth cert, passport). You are insured to train with a club (as long as the appropriate guidelines are followed). You are insured to participate in Triathlon Ireland children’s events. The cost of Junior Membership is 1 Euro.
