Aquathlon
Swim - 750 Metres
The swim kicks off with a rolling start from the school slip and follows a triangular anti-clockwise course around two large orange markers in Schull harbour. This is a very sheltered harbour where our club members swim year-round. You will finish at the slipway and run to the transition area at the school pitch to collect your bike.
Cycle - 20 Kilometres
Once you've transitioned to your bike, you'll have a few hundred metres to get comfortable as you head north on the Colla road before a left turn and a steep climb out of Schull. You'll continue out west along country roads with the Atlantic and the Fastnet winking at you along the way. You'll turn after 10km and follow the same route back into Schull.
Run - 5 Kilometres
Once you're off the bike, you'll find your feet heading south along the Colla road and the rounding to the west with water stations at the 2km and 3km points. You'll turn just before Colla Pier and return the same route for your triumphant dash across the finish line!
Post Race Celebrations
The post triathlon celebrations are always a great night in Schull and we can't wait to toast our fellow triathletes and supporters. Be sure to book your accommodation early so you can really let loose and celebrate with us!
